Céliane Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). She graduated from Trinity Western University with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and holds a Bachelor of International Studies and languages from Laval University. She also pursued further training with the Existential Analysis Society of Canada and in Lifespan Integration techniques. Having grown up with a parent living with a chronic degenerative illness in an environment where mental health was significantly stigmatized before working with university students for 4 years as in spiritual counselling and recently supporting individuals with disabilities for over 2 years, she feels strongly about helping people connect with their inner truths, find and use their voices and power and take a stand in their life, as well as find the support and safety that they need to move forward with greater resilience and authenticity.

Drawing from a humanistic-existential approach, Céliane is passionate about helping others and feels strongly about providing a safe space where one can be seen, and their voice be heard. She strives to invite clients to explore their unique and personal experiences in a safe and open environment. She considers individuals as relational beings in constant interaction with themselves, others, and the world – emotions, values and spirituality included – while on a quest for wholeness, balance, and health; a process which can also be disrupted by traumatic experiences. She strives to help individuals move toward (re)connection. Céliane works with her clients using modalities including narrative therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic related therapies. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, spirituality, and chronic illness.

When she’s not working, Céliane can be found enjoying fresh forest and mountain air or rollerblading down the seawall with friends, walking barefoot somewhere, or in her kitchen cooking or baking while watching Law & Order: SVU. She also enjoys spending time in home and art projects.
